Welcome to #dadsforchange
This page is designed to give a thumbs up to those establishments who have considered the dads and installed changing facilities in the gents, a thumbs up to those establishments who have at the very least put the changing facilities in the disabled/unisex toilet and a huge thumbs down to those establishments who haven’t moved with the times and think that dads are just good for babysitting when mum needs a rest.
The way it works is easy:
- Take a look at the map and see which services near you have dad friendly facilities (or not).
- Use the key below to help with your search.
- Use the form below to let us know about any dad friendly or dad un-friendly facilities near you. (All submissions will be reviewed by a moderator before being added to the map)
- If you want to nominate a dad friendly facility to receive a free Tommee Tippee Sangenic Tec nappy bin, worth £24.99, then fill out the 2nd form. Se below for details.
Tommee Tippee Sangenic are proud to support the #dadsforchange campaign ran by The Dad Network. We know how important it is for Dads to feel included in the parenting process – whether that be bath-time, feed-time or change-time.
To celebrate the #dadsforchange campaign we are giving away 200 Sangenic Tec Nappy Bins to venues nominated for ‘Dad friendly baby changing facilities’. To get a free Nappy Bin for your favourite dad friendly baby changing facilities simply nominate your venue by completing the attached form *
The innovative nappy disposal system from Tommee Tippee offers anti-bacterial protection from germs and odours, individually sealing each nappy away in seconds. Ideal for hygienic, tidy and smell free changing facilities.
*We have 200 Nappy Bins to give to qualifying venues, which will be determined by the Dad Network. Applications are on a first come first served basis. All qualifying venues will receive one Sangenic Tec Nappy Bin and refill cartridge worth £24.99.
If you’re a business and you’ve been listed as a Dad Friendly Facility, feel free to use this badge:
Pressure public establishments to provide baby changing facilities for men.
There are still many public facilities where child changing facilities are either housed in the ladies toilets or simply not available to men at all.
We urge the government to pressure businesses of all sizes to ensure men have equal opportunity to access changing facilities for their children.
