Dad Rated has a cracking team of dads and dad bloggers on hand to test your products and ultimately judge them. If your product makes it through the shortlisting process from our exclusive network of over 1200 dads, the products will face our panel of dads. Combined with the public vote, these dads opinions and scores will decide if your product is crowned victorious or not. Meet the judges here:

Jason King


Jk is one of the UK’s most recognised and loved commercial radio presenters.

With a diverse career spanning more than 20 years – JK has not only appeared on some of the UK’s biggest radio stations, but also graced our TV screens AND bagged a load of prestigious awards along the way.

Starting out on his local radio station at the tender age of 16 JK soon became paired with his long standing co-host Joel. The pair went on to present on Key 103 in Manchester, BBC Radio 1 for five years including hosting The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart and then onto Virgin Radio.

During this time JK also presented a number of prime time and children’s TV shows including the award winning Hider In The House, Sing It Back, Scorpion Island, My Camp Rock, Remote Control Star and Top Of The Pops.

Jason is currently presenting the weekday 4 – 7pm slot on Heart Radio in London and the Saturday breakfast show on Global Radio’s Heart network to a potential audience of 9.1 million.

But JK’s most important job role to date is being Dad to baby Noah.  The ups and downs of his introduction to fatherhood are documented in his vlogs with his fianceé Charlie.

Tom Briggs


Tom Briggs is a multi-award-winning blogger as well as the father of two sons and the dad-to-be of a daughter due later this year. He has been blogging about his experiences as a parent at Diary of the Dad since 2010 and is a regular member of the Love All Dads Podcast team, which discusses parenting issues from a male perspective every week.

Al Ferguson


Al Ferguson, 27, is married to Jen and has a beautiful baby boy called Ted aged 1.

He is a full time teacher and comes from Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

He is the founder of The Dad Network, a website aiming to network Dads from around the globe. He loves being active whether it’s up climbing up mountains, on the bike or playing ‘superman’ with Ted in the park.

Al is passionate about being a dad and is enjoying navigating his way through the gauntlet of fatherhood.
